ADDING DRL's to an '03 US Civic LX

Hey guys,

I'm an insurance agent, and though I've been reading on here that people "hate" DRLs, I'm actually all for them because of safety issues. So, I'd like to know if there is a possible way to add/enable them on a US Civic LX? My '99 corolla has them, and I frankly miss them & have almost gotten busted for driving with my lights off since I'm used to them going on by themselves.

So, is there a way to add this to my car?

Follow basically the same procedure. You'll just have to cross reference wiring schematics between the RSX and the EM2 and tap into the right lines

Re: ADDING DRL's to an '03 US Civic LX

Need to be aware that the Hondas use switched grounds (-) on alot of the lighting controls vs the normal switched +12Vdc.

Co-worker added an automatic headlight switch system from fleabay to his Canadian (with DRL) 2003 DX and even being an experienced electronics tech took some head scratching to figure it out.

Might be easier to either add a OEM/Fleabay fog light kit or aftermarket lighting kit vs adapting the non-DRL system.

Just turn your headlights on..... the warning system will let you know to turn them off.

DRLs= Cooked out bulbs.
