will 55w melt stock housing??
i have a 35W hid kit installed in my car in a stock housing (i know, i need projectors). my car is a 2002 civic. my friend has a 2001 and he wants to get hid's after seeing mine. his stock housing looks pretty much identical to mine, and he was thinking of getting a DDM kit but said he wants 55W. he will be running a harness so no worry about melting the stock wires or anything. he seems really set on getting 55W kit just wondering if they would melt the stock housing or not? the reason i ask is because i am installing for him and i don't want him to flip out if they end up melting his headlight housing lol
