Weird ac problems. Please help

So my ac compressor has been acting up and kicks on only after I've been driving for about. 20 min. I just charged the system about 2 months ago and the pressure is fine. Last night I checked the level in my ac with a freon charging system I got from Walmart and it was high so I relieved some of the pressure, then added more freon to a safe level. Now it works but it takes about 15-20 min for the ac compressor to turn on. What's the deal? No cold air for the first 15 min. Please help

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

You didn't post what your car is. Is this post about your Porsche, or the Jaguar?
Porsche controls their air conditioning systems very differently from Jaguar.

Sorry, no easy answer.

There could be a lot of stuff involved in figuring out what's wrong: the HVAC control panel, the multiplex system, the PCM, wiring, etc.

Charging freon won't solve a problem with the electrical stuff.

Seems like you should need a wiring diagram, a voltmeter, and a little knowledge of how the system works and know what the PCM needs to see in order to turn on the compressor, IF the PCM decides to allow it to operate.
