To guys who love Fram oil filter, here is a link shows how bad it is.

I only use MANN oil filter and it is actually $4-$5 cheaper and out perform a lot of expensive brands, include k&n.

fram is just a toy, like for people learning how to do oil change on a demo car. youre not actually supposed to use the filter while driving.

Kinda laughing here. I also own a motorcycle and the same things are said about Fram oil filters on all the bike forums I belong to. Some things are just universal, I reckon!

Im using a fram air filter, bad good? Ive been using it for 5 months now and only reason i got it is cause i needed a filter asap and honda wasnt open. I plan on going back to honda air filter this week. Or do you think the fram will be ok? I compared both side by side and the feel of them and the fram is surprisingly just as solid as the honda one.
For oil filter i was told to use honda only which i do.

I believe Fram is the same quality stuff as Champion, and you're not supposed to use Champion spark plugs in Hondas

I don't know who you talk to at stealerships, but I suggest you never going back to that one again
If you're getting charged $45 for a filter, tell them to do the complete oil change for you....with mobil 1 too
The list price for OEM honda filters are about $7 a piece, $5.99 at certain Acura dealerships.
The reason I said I wanted to try a Bosch one, is according to that posted thread, the price of one is $5.99, and has one of the highest amount of filtration, so probably best bang for the buck
You honestly don't need to be spending $10+ on a filter

Mobile One, Bosch, some STP are made by Champion Labs http://www.champlabs.com/.
Now, I have two Mobil One and one Honda A01 in stock and I am pretty much stay with Bosch, Mobil, Honda OEM A1, Napa Gold and Wix as long as I can find them cheap : ) The Hamp is too expensive for my Silvic.
I used to use FRAM on my old Ford Escort but later on I switched to Motorcraft : D and the car died.
