oil leak...

just recently changed my oil and while i was under there.. i noticed there was a small oil leak on the lefts side of the engine. looks like it is coming from the oil pan seal or crankcase seal.. wonder if anyone knows if there is a common problem with this on our cars or not and how expensive it is to fix

Re: oil leak...

common problem is the rear main seal leaking. just be sure not to overfill the oil and it might go away. you need to figure out exactly where its coming from tho. clean up the oil and then check it again later.

Re: oil leak...

Man, If The Leak Is Coming From The Pan Then Its The Seal... Really Easy To Change. But First Make Sure Its Coming From There, Like G/B Said..
