Rep Power: 216 Baffle Oil Pan or Not?
As the question states, Should i baffle the oil pan cos i take my car to the track often.
i want to change to semi slicks but i heard that if you do that the oil will move around that it will cause oil starvation of the engine.
sum ppl say the newer model civics dont need it cos we have a good oil pan/sump but sum say it doest matter how good ur pan/sump is it will still starve.
so my question is do i need to baffle the oil pan or not?
thanx

I'm betting there is already baffles in the oil pan. My SHO, with an oil pan designed in the late 80's has no problems with oil starvation. If you're worried about a short instances with the pickup tube becoming uncovered, invest in an Accusump.
