Re: Official Shift Knob & Short throw Thread

I got the revo ss off ebay for like 85 bucks and it is the best upgrade that i have done yet. I also got the aluminum bushings and they are amazing as well. And for my shift knob i just got a small black metal one off ebay for 10 bucks shipped. Shifting is so much smooth now. Before the shifter was so sloppy and now it almost pulls right into gear. A++ for bushings and revo!!!

Re: Official Shift Knob & Short throw Thread

i just have the stock shifter but from reading a million posts over and over about this same topic, the majority of everyone all say the same thing as sk8n. the revo ss is by far the best, and if you also use the aluminum bushings, youre pimpin'.

Re: Official Shift Knob & Short throw Thread

revo ss is the only 'real' short shifter available. Personally I couldn't give a rip about actual shorter throws so I just cut an inch out of the stock lever and welded it back together. As for the shift knob.. it doesn't matter. Its just a knob. Its a chunk of aluminum with a threaded hole. Get whatever floats your boat. I personally like Delrin or teflon or acrylic because they don't get really hot or really cold. I have made shift knobs from quite a few things, and honestly my favorite thus far is one made from a snooker ball. Just get one that you like.
