| Re: video diy: removing srs light on 7thgens Hey guys, I think it should be noted here that this is simply for resetting the light.. If there is an issue with one of the srs components in your car, this isnt going to do anything for you - simply because there is still a fault in the system. This comes in handy in situations like when you remove the seats (that have airbags), decide to listen to the radio and then simply reinstall the seats. By doing that you just tripped the light. Reset it with this, and voila. When doing a steering wheel swap or something like that where you've altered the SRS system, you have to 'fool' the circuitry before resetting the light - otherwise, no dice. |
