Springtime mods

Well, spring has finally arrived and my place is full of parts waiting to go on:

-Megan coilovers
-OEM replacement drilled rotors and w/pads
-OEM replacement drums w/shoes and new springs and hardware
-Energy LCA bushings (finally)
-OEM ball joints
-OEM aero kit front/rear
-Type A sides
-Neuspeed strut bar (black)
-K&N short ram (the black one with the heat shield)
-Genuine Honda Type R shift knob (already installed)
-OEM headlights to be blacked out (to replace my current stone-chipped ones)

Other things to do:

-Smoked OEM style fogs (ditching the yellow ones)
-Energy motor mount inserts
-New tires - mostly likely General Exclaim 205/50/16
-REMOVING THE GAY OEM SPOILER and shaving the trunk emblem
-and I'll probably be doing an Exedy Stage 1 at some point in the next few months

I'll post pics once everything is complete. I also plan on hitting the track a bit this summer. So what do you guys have going on these days?

Re: Springtime mods

Wow. Looks like you've got a little work. I've just got new tires. Yokohoma avid 215/45/17.
Looking at removing my black projector lights and replacing with painted OEMs.
Going to look for a reasonable suspension replacement.
Play with my exhaust a little.
New box for my subs.
Rear sway bar.
Possible new front sway bar
front and reat strut bars.

Could be more than a spring thing tho. more like a hopefully 09 thing.

I'm curious to see what this 'rear visor' looks like. Is it like a lip spoiler kind of deal?

How is attached there?

Re: Springtime mods

Hey guys. Just had my Megan coilovers installed yesterday, along with my LCA bushings. What a difference! The car is lowered 2" currently and rides great. Everything feels super tight and is very quiet. Honestly, the ride quality is better than that of my old KYB GR-2 struts with my OEM springs...even with the dampers set at 15 front & rear. I'll probably set the height at about 2.25" for the final drop, and then go for an alignment. Anyway, I'm really impressed with these coilovers. I guess only time will tell how they hold up. So far, so good.

you guys must have nice roads.

any coilover setup in california = the suckiest most bumpiest shock absorbing ride in your life due to crappy roads.
