Re: hissing sound ???

they all make that sound- its the air getting sucked in. Higher RPM= more air needed= faster suckage. Although, depending on the kind of hissing, it could be a loose connection between the tube and the filter, a tube and another tube, or the tube and the throttle body. Other that that (assuming no cracks and the sensor isnt lose either) its perfectly normal.

Re: hissing sound ???

agreed sounds like it's the intake. My buddies 02 does this at high rpm's and he's running an aem short ram and high flow filter.

Re: hissing sound ???

Its like sucking air through tissue paper, its going to make the same sound no matter the brand of tissue paper.
