I really need to post pics up of my civic up!!!!!! But anyway, i want to get my car to push out around 200hp (170-180whp). I would throw in a turbo but im not all up for it. So far i have injen intake, magnaflow exhaust, and DC 4-2-1 header. I plan on getting aem tru cam pulley, NGK spark plugs and reflashed ECU (hondata?). Anyway, i just wanted to know what else i would need to put my car up there? And does anyone know why the 7th gen cant have a Vtech controller!?!?!?! Anyway, ill post some pics up asap (i think i want to put my CF hood and CF trunk up first).

hahahahahahhahahah..... Oh that made me laugh. You'll never get it to something that high. Like mani said, go buy yourself a faster car, as it's a civic, a CIVIC! It's fuel efficient, not the very strongest car out there.
nah dude its easy...just take out the rear seats, passenger seat, the dash and wat ever else u can rip out and throw some light weight 15" rims on it and then make sure u dont eat ANYTHING for about a day-to a day and a half and then
fill half tank up with gas and the other half w/octane boosters
or just do some drugs and ull be beating every car on the road
How about an intake manifold, update the injectors/coil pack and fuel delivery, a lightweight ACT Flywheel, deffinately do the AEM Pulleys (I have em', love em!) AEM also makes a adjustable cam gear (only about 1hp though after dyno time but still worth it) w/the combo of the intake, headers, exhaust, plugs, but unfortunately Hondata makes nothing for the Civic that we have ;-( BASTARDS!!! but AEM or Greddy have a nice system!

I don't think I've ever seen more garbage posted in one post since I've been on this site.
Stock injectors are fine for your n/a d17. If stock coil packs work perfectly on a 400 hp d17, why would you need to upgrade them for a stock motor? Doesn't make much sense, does it? AEM cam gear is a waste of money. Plugs won't make more power either. Hondata makes a kpro version for the d17, its the best computer available. Greddy is garbage.
I've seen this posted so many times. You will have to do some serious work to the head and seriously raise the compression ratio of the piston. If you're asking this question, you have no clue of what's entailed and like every other noob on this site that asks this question, you haven't the ability to do what it takes to reach that number.
To the OP, I'm not gonna be too much of an ass, but next time you feel you need to ask a question like this, take some time to look around the site first. Make friends with the search function. We get one of these a week, at least. Someone makes a thread, saying they want to go N/A, and hit 200+ HP, people say it's hard as hell, just go turbo, then the OP says they wanna be different, and they can definitely get 200 NA HP, and we should all go ..... ourselves. Then we never hear from them again. Which leads me to believe, few, if any, actually succeed.
Thanks for not being that guy, for keeping a sense of humor, and asking about machine guns. Look around the site, research turbos a little more, and if you're still not interested in that, either deal with what you have, or go out and buy an RSX, or Si. If you did go the NA route, you'd end up spending enough money that you could have added it to what you'd get for the civic, and bought a really nice RSX, or maybe even a new civic Si. Whatever you choose to do, good luck.
