I'm about to buy an 04 LX Coupe for a DD instead of my CRX. Well its a long story about the car but a relative has it now but the car has been neglected. My main concern is when I checked the oil none appeared on the dipstick at all. But after it idled for a few seconds there was oil splashed up on the dipstick but It was more like sludge. The car has 40k miles on it. Should I be concerned about the oil or will it be ok with proper maintenance from here on? I'm getting a pretty good deal on it but the front end has some slight damage but just needs a new hood, rad. support and everything measured out to be straight. Here are some pics:
How much would you pay for it?
