8th Gen Honda Civic2006 and up is the 8th Generation Honda Civic. It adds a new look to the Civic line-up. A really smooth front end separates it from previous generations while still carrying the reliability of the Civic name.

Hey this is my first post and i recently started looking into just doing some minor stuff with my 2006 Civic sedan. First thing i want to do is add some beat to my car, but i'm not sure if that would void the warranty i got with my car. Does anyone know? I'm getting mixed answers from my friends, so i decided to get some help from people that would know. Thanks!

no it wont, unless the sub install is directly related to a problem that comes up. like if bad sub wiring shorted out and messed up the electrical system.

PM me if you know companies that are hiring.
Yea exactly what gearbox said. But even if it wasnt the sub that messed it up they still wont mess with it. Some dealers are more picky then others.. some dealers wont change your brakes if you have aftermarket wheels.. Some dont care, all depends on the dealership.
Ahhhh i see, so if i get some rims too, some dealerships might be picky about them? So basically if theres a probably to whatever you upgrade, warranty is voided to problems, if they do occur within that same field/area? i.e. Subs will void them helping me if theres a problem with the subs? and aftermarket exhaust will be voided, if the problem is coming from the exhaust itself?
pretty much..once again each dealership is different. I would say most dealers would still work on your car even with aftermarket wheels, but dont be suprised if they dont. The example I gave was kinda an extreme case.
Ohhh ok ok i see...Thanks alot for your guys help. One more thing, if i were to install the subs, has anyone had problems with the stock Head Unit? Or would it be worth it to swap the HU for another custom HU?
if you get big wheels, and then come in complaining about an abs issue, they might think twice. otherwise most dont care. the aftermarket parts just replace the stock parts and usually they dont hurt anything.
