flashing drl warning light help..

drl warning light started flashing on the dash board on my 06 civic lx. today i was driving around 40 MPH going home when i sudenly relize that there was a flashing light on my dash board, it took me awhile to fully recongize the warning sign for drl,because it was flashing on and off constanly.and the light would be on every few second. and the weird part is when i stop for a red light or slow down the light would dissapear ,and once i pick up the speed it would came right back on. can someone give me a suggestion on the probelm and ways to solve it

are the drl lights both on? it should be the hi beam bulbs at 1/2 power. usually the light comes on when one of the bulb is burnt.

actually just 1 drl light flashing. i dont get it now confused. i was driving the car just a minutes ago and to my surprise the warning light didnt went on this time. so is this warning something serious?.

i dont think i understand. there is a light on the dash that says "DRL" right? that refers to the daytime running lights in the front of the car that come on when the car is moving. go in front and see if two white lights are on when the car is turned on. if one side is burnt, replace the bulb.
