8th Gen Honda Civic 2006 and up is the 8th Generation Honda Civic. It adds a new look to the Civic line-up. A really smooth front end separates it from previous generations while still carrying the reliability of the Civic name.

Short ram or Cold Air 2006 EX????

So im making my first engine upgrade for me 2006 Civic Ex 2 Door and from everything I hear, a short ram would be better for me than a cold air because of the possibility of sucking water into my engine. I was looking at AEM short ram intakes, but they only make one for an 06 SI. I was wondering if that would fit the EX engine, and also if this is not the bets short ram for my car then what does everyone think would be the best intake for me to get? All suggestions would be greatly appreciated! To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

Re: Short ram or Cold Air 2006 EX????

I've been looking around for a solution like this too. I came across this weapon R short ram intake.

Procivic Weapon R Secret Weapon Air Intake

From what people say I guess AEM and Weapon are on par with each other.
