8th Gen Honda Civic 2006 and up is the 8th Generation Honda Civic. It adds a new look to the Civic line-up. A really smooth front end separates it from previous generations while still carrying the reliability of the Civic name.

Question speedometer/gauge color

I just bought a silver 2007 honda civic ex coupe with 9,xxx miles for $14,989 a week ago. So I'm new to this forum.

I was wondering if i can change the color on the speedometer/gauge. Currently it's blue but my friend has an SI with red lights on his gauges/speedometer. It looks nice so I want to change it. Please reply and thanks.

Easy answer =yes
In depth= 2 options swap out clusters or have leds put behind your current cluster.

Re: speedometer/gauge color

ehh, i wouldnt go opening it up. it has builtin led lighting already, so assuming you pull it apart without destroying it, youre gonna have to work on a tiny circuit board replacing the smt leds or wiring in your own and breaking the ones inside. the easier way is just find an SI cluster and swap it in. i doubt there would be much, if any, difference. search on ebay or junkyard but be aware the mileage will prolly change to whats on the new cluster.
