Three days ago, i was driving along doing about 45 and some drunk dumbass pulled out right in front of me to turn across my lane.. he was coming from the opposite direction.. i tried to dodge him thinking he would stop going across, but he sure didn't and ran directly into my driver's side door... im not sure but he was going somewhat fast maybe 25.. and he was driving a full size GMC van and i was driving my little 07 honda coupe.. i got hit pretty hard slid 100 yards down the road and spun around... the way the frame is set up on this car makes it so safe.. and i literally just bounced off of the van other than being completely crushed.. my door was destroyed and it was cracked on the inside, but no part of the car collapsed on me.. i am grateful and very satesfied with the way my side airbags reacted, considering i walked away from the accident with a tiny scratch on my left elbow, either from glass or the airbag... I did drive a 79 datsun 280zx before this car and am glad i got my new civic... before i had this dumbass drunk ruin my night other than my life..
