8th Gen Honda Civic 2006 and up is the 8th Generation Honda Civic. It adds a new look to the Civic line-up. A really smooth front end separates it from previous generations while still carrying the reliability of the Civic name.

Interior Rattles

Who's got em? Mine goes in to the dealership this Saturday.

I have one up front on the passenger side, one in the rear passenger side (also triggered by playing music) and a slight one in the rear driver's side.

600 miles on the car.

Experiences? Fixes? Comments?

Re: Interior Rattles

I have one on the passenger side. I found it to be in the underseat wiring. It is for the weight sensor, I think. The wiring is encased in in a black protective plastic casing and ratrtles inside it. I am going to put tie wraps in it to squeeze the casing to the wiring and see what happens. With Honda's history of fit and finish I am surprised there are any rattles anywhere.

Re: Interior Rattles

I was told by a tech that Hondas do rattle consistently.

I was able to have them get rid of the rear deck rattle 90% of the time by putting foam under it (twice on two separate visits). It's still occasionally noisey on even somewhat bumpy roads.
