8th Gen Honda Civic 2006 and up is the 8th Generation Honda Civic. It adds a new look to the Civic line-up. A really smooth front end separates it from previous generations while still carrying the reliability of the Civic name.

just for my new car!

hello everyone.
this is my first civic and first post on these forums.so after 2 days of going around various toyota dealerships to find a tC with the options i wanted with no luck i finally gave up. Got tired of asking, then having the dealers try to load a damn 4 door econobox onto me. So dropped by honda and picked up an 06 honda civic coupe for invoice in galaxy gray. No bull**** soon as we sat down he said we got silver, gray and black (all my prevs) and heres what we pay. Paperwork done in 45 mins. Took longer to get the car washed and detailed lol.

I gonna miss my prelude, she served me well and still a looker but damn 5k worth of work. Its was a 93 si with 190k miles on it. Needed new timing belt,ABS system,cam/crank seals, new tires, tags about to expire etc. Blue book had it at 1900 i talked them into taking it off my hands for 1k.

heres my new baby

Prelude's are nice, but damn it must be great to be able to walk in and buy a new car!
You made a great choice, I really love that colour

Congrats on your new ride, enjoy it and your old car was nice too. Sometime it's just not worth fixing for other problems to pop up after that.

Thumbs up I traded too...

I picked mine up last Tuesday morning. Traded a gas guzzling behemoth SUV. These new Civics are in high demand, around here anyway. The first 2 dealerships thought they would get sticker and kill me on my trade. After some research and a couple emails, I was able to get mine for 700.00 above invoice and got a vary fair deal on trade. All in all it was the easiest car purchase I've ever made!

Besides the fact that I just love this little car! I already have almost 500 miles on it. Another reason I had to go with something fuel efficient. I drive at least 80 miles a day. So far first tank I got 32.5 mpg. I'm impressed! I hear it will just get better with a few more miles on it.

I ordered the all weather mats, trunk liner and mud guards off eBay last week. They should be here tomorrow. Just need to figure out how to use the aux jack for my Sirius receiver and I'll be all set.

Congrats on a great ride!

J

Ahh great choice buddy, the more SUV's off the road the better!!
Nice economy there, hopefully that will keep up.
