8th Gen Honda Civic 2006 and up is the 8th Generation Honda Civic. It adds a new look to the Civic line-up. A really smooth front end separates it from previous generations while still carrying the reliability of the Civic name.

Can Someone Confirm This - LX Sedan Only

Guys,

Just out of curiosity, I went to see other LX sedans like my own today. I did not have the option of look at an LX sedan so I looked inside the trunk of an LX or EX coupe and noticed a black foam mat that was around the spare tire area, this mat was adhered to the spare tire well itself.

To my dismay when I looked on my sedan, I did not have this black foam mat around my spare tire area.

Can somone please check their LX sedan and see if indeed you have the black foam mat around your spare tire area?

I am curious to see if my car is missing this minor part but it must be there for a reason on the other cars?

Help?

Did you buy yours brand new?
They seem to be one of those things that mysteriously disappear when a car is passed through a few different owners.

Yep it's new and oh I did get confirmation from a friend that the LX sedan does not have this mat in the spare tire well.

Mikey, I think you are referring to a trank mut that is like a carpet like a floor mat, different thing.
