8th Gen Honda Civic2006 and up is the 8th Generation Honda Civic. It adds a new look to the Civic line-up. A really smooth front end separates it from previous generations while still carrying the reliability of the Civic name.

Below is a link to some reviews for the 2006 Honda Civic...some of the reviews are interesting...some are good...other complain about lack of power, CD problems, rattling in front dashboard, etc...worth a look...
I was reading through the reviews and made me wonder if it's just a bad batch that went unchecked. So far I really don't have any issues with my 2006 Civic EX Sedan. I saw a post about his moonroof leaking and since I purchased the EX model I was like, "Great... in this day and age moonroof leaks should NOT be an issue." Then again the '06 model is a total redesign so I'm knocking on wood I don't experience the same issues others have reported.

I have read through hundreds of these post at auto.yahoo and elsewhere. I am the one with the motor mount rattle and Civic that lives at the dealership. The sense I get is there is two classes of complaints. Those that just don't like the car and find things and those with rubber meeting the road complaints. On the whole I believe the public has a 3 chances out of 4 of getting an okay Civic. That's not bad in a redesigned working prototype a.k.a. first year model. As for my Civic, stuff happens; I just need a Civic replacement.
