8th Gen Honda Civic 2006 and up is the 8th Generation Honda Civic. It adds a new look to the Civic line-up. A really smooth front end separates it from previous generations while still carrying the reliability of the Civic name.

What type of low beam headlight bulb is used...

Edit: Confirmed that the sedan uses 9006 bulbs. I would almost safely assume that the coupe uses the same bulb type.

on the 2006 Civic?

My dad's car is at his house and is not convenient for me to check, but if someone can find out what type of low beam head lamp the new civics use, I would greatly appreciate it.

I've tried the Sylvania website, but they do not list anything for the 2006 model. Several eBay sellers have listed the 2006 civic to be using a 9006 bulb, but can someone verify?

Thanks,
Mike

So you found out it uses the same bulbs as the coupe, or not?

Haven't verified on the coupe, but...

I can't imagine Honda going with two different bulb types. They are the same headlight housing right?

Yes I doubt honda would do that, just makes things more difficult for them and us.
