8th Gen Honda Civic 2006 and up is the 8th Generation Honda Civic. It adds a new look to the Civic line-up. A really smooth front end separates it from previous generations while still carrying the reliability of the Civic name.

Prices at the moment that im seeing are as follows:

$19,990.00
Manual Transmission

$20,190.00
Manual Transmission with Summer Tires

Hope this helps you. I couldnt afford one but if i could i would have this car
Remember some dealer prices can vary though and you can probably get them cheaper than the price i have written there. That figure will give you a starting idea, and you will have to research further in your area etc.

Thats not bad pricing for a brand new car.
Some of the new Toyota's cost that much just for the little Echo which is only a 1.3L or something.

$20k for a brand new Civic is unreal, remember that includes warranty as well.

PFFT. 20k is high for a car like the civic. It is a nice car, but it should be fully loaded with nav, dvd and everything for 20k

There must be a reason why its so high.
What other extras do you get for that price? I know I wouldnt buy one brand new, I'd rather buy second hand.

I just think cars are getting so expensive now. I also think these are loaded. Although you can not really load much onto a Civic.

loaded?

Cars are expensive because of the electronics involved in running them.
They are very high tech, so the cost of programming, tuning etc outweighs the cost of parts most of the time.

The 06 si is a really amazing sports coupe. Same engine as the RSX type-s, has a LSD, loaded with 350 watt system w/sub, 18 inch rims, 197 hp, keyless entry and trunk release, 6 spd transmission. It's pretty loaded, I would say. Not to mention I saw an article where it pretty much overall beat 3 competing vehicles in the approx 20k sporty car range. It beat the Cobalt SS supercharged, Dodge Neon SRT-4, and something else (I forgot) in an overall road test. It handles very well compared to most cars, so I don't think it's too expensive given how good it is and that it's a honda.

Looks like they are pulling the lowest prices from dealers. I think they would update it in accordance with the dealers prices.
