2011 noise when turning steering wheel Help......my Honda Dealer just diagnosed a rubbery noise, made only when turning, in the front right wheel, to a faulty bearing at the top of the strut.
They want $300. to repair the bearing, or $400. to replace the strut.
Need a second opinion.......

That sounds pretty cheap.
Does that price include the (necessary) wheel alignment?
If the strut isn't actually bad, I don't have an issue with reusing it. They aren't really a high failure item IMO.
