Rep Power: 0 Questions about '09 Honda Civic LX
Hey there fellow fourm-goers, just popped in the neighborhood to ask for some guidance and such.
So several months ago, I had the unfortunate luck of having my car getting hit while parked, severely damaging my fender in the process. I never got the driver's info, thus it being labelled as "Uninsured driver" within my insurance claim. If I bought the fender myself directly from Honda, how much would it be to take it to to a mechanic and have him replace the fender and possibly add the color back to it? (it's that dyno-blue pearl color I believe)
And diverging from that topic: How would I know if my car's mileage (or rather the fuel) is actually displaying correctly, and not having any sort of problems?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

#1 You want a bodyshop, not a mechanic shop. Ask those nice folks at the bodyshop for an estimate.
#2 You calculate your actual fuel mileage at each fill up, track this over MANY fill ups to get an average, then compare.
Your actual mileage may vary. LOL.
