Re: 2006 civic lx

Instructions should be included with the kit. Here are some generic ones.

1.) Buy a spoiler.
2.) Line it up correctly onto your rear deck and mark it down.
3.) Drill 3-5 holes: 2-4 for the bolts (depending on how many), one for the wire. Don't use a bit that's too big unless you want a loose spoiler.
4.) Thread the wiring through one of the holes
5.) Bolt down the spoiler. Make sure you install the washers too.
6.) Splice the wire into the 3rd brake light (center LED) wire.
7.) Test it
8.) If everything's good, seal the bolt holes with something.
9.) Enjoy the new look , consider getting a wash/wax because you know you need it!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Make sure to use 3M brands, they are superior to brands like "Duck".

Re: 2006 civic lx

You're welcome! The hardest part for me was convincing myself to drill into my trunk!

My 05s spoiler (OEM) came with a template, and you could see round dimples in under side of trunk in the location where the bolts are to come through.

Yeah, there ARE those. I missed my dimples completely (my spoiler is a little farther to the rear) so I had to drill through two panels. Still looks good though
