Rep Power: 0 2014 Honda Civic Si or 2014 Honda Accord Coupe?
**First of all, wanted to apologize if this is in the wrong section
Hey guys, so I'm new to the "Honda" territory (drove a E46 BMW before selling it) and wanted input on what to get, as I'm in the market for a new car. I'm torn between either getting a '14 Si (coupe [more likely because it's the only one in stock atm] or sedan) or a '14 Accord Coupe LX-S (the V6 is out of my price range), both 6MT. I just wanted to know which one would be better suited for my driving: occasional spirited driving, but 75%-ish commuting from home, school, work (90%-ish city).
The Accord is more "future" friendly (family, baby/child seats, etc.), but the Si has more HP. Is it worth sacrificing the space for the HP? Does it even matter? I'm assuming someone must have been in the same shoes as me. And before you say "test drive and see what you like", I'm simply asking other people opinions before I go in to test drive them myself. So any help is appreciated and will be duly noted, thanks in advance!

I have not driven either of them but based off of C&D test results the Accord is the way to go as far as balance, both mechanically and family wise. Not sure how long you are planning on keeping the car but it will adapt well to a changing life. The Accord will be the closest to your BMW as far as handling, and shifting mechanics.
Not sure which is better on MPG as it seems like you are mostly city driving so that might be a deciding factor.
