Rep Power: 0 Help with door lock for 2006 Civic
While I was trying to replace the cylinder in the driver's side lock, I knocked loose the linkage that goes from the inside door lock to the actuator (?). I've attached a picture of what I'm talking about. I can't see or figure out what the bottom of the linkage attaches to. The arrow in the picture is pointing at the piece that is hanging loose and needs to be anchored somewhere below. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

That doesn't look like an 06 lock and latch, the plugs are in the wrong place.
Try getting a small mirror and flashlight up behind there to see what you can see. You might even need to pull the latch out of the door in order to see and reassemble the linkage. Sucks, I know, but it happens.
If nothing else, yank the door panel off the other side and take a look at it.

Um, you're right, it's a 2005 (it's my daughter's car). Anyway, I will try getting a mirror or comparing with the passenger side door. Thanks for the ideas.
