Fuse continues to blow

Hello all
proud 2007 owner here.

My front power accessory outlet fuse keeps blowing. I have to replace it frequently.

Any ideas as to why?

I have used the same phone charger in it for years.
I can say I did notice the problem started occurring after I used a air pressure inflation that was above the recommended volts. That said I haven't used it since.

Re: Fuse continues to blow

Which fuse, and which socket?

See if there is anything still in the bottom of the socket. Check both of them (if you have two).

Numerous times I've seen where someone has their accessory plug fall apart and they don't get all the pieces out of the socket.

Re: Fuse continues to blow

Yes, look it over inside and also look for damage from overheating when the compressor was used.

The improved later sockets have the dished out center terminal.
