Shifter ****

I want to change my stock shifter **** for something smaller and better grip while shifting. But the problems is, is that I've looked all over it and can not figure out how to remove it. Do I have to remove the plastic ring under the ****? Do I have to remove the piece of plastic under the shifter boot? I'm at a loss as to what I have to do to remove it.

Re: Shifter ****

Try pulling down on the plastic ring under the shift ****. After the ring is off the **** should screw off.

There might be a small screw on the side of the collar.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: Shifter ****

Non-Si:

Push the boot down away from the ****.

Unscrew the ****.

Re: Shifter ****

Thank you. I officially feel like an idiot for not thinking of that. And I will post pics of my car soon, I promise.
