Honda Civic Si 2008

Hi guys,
I just have my first Honda Civic SI 2008
I just wonder what kind of cold air intake is good for my car and springs so I can lower the car to make it look better. If anyone know what website or where I can buy it too it would be great
Thank you

Re: Honda Civic Si 2008

There's one reason why you haven't got a response. I am going to be nice and fill you in... go to 8thcivic.com and look at how many people asked the same exact question that you have...hundreds. What you need to do is look at the 8th civic Mother of all intake threads and also the suspension section so you can learn from other's mistakes and see their opinions. I have a Mishimoto SRI intake, Vibrant RH Vibrant exhaust Hondata Flash Pro to name a few all of which were tuned by Vitviper. If you put an intake on without tunning you are going to get little to no results. It will sound different and in the summer you engine will bog. The computer senses more air so it sends less fuel which makes your Air/Fuel ratio lean. Lean=bad new for engine. Do what you want, I put an intake on before my tune, you would be fine but a good intake cost alot compared to what you get out of it. There are also a number of different kinda. The most popular being Short-ram and Cold Air. The differences you'll have to see for yourself here -- http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/intak...d-version.html

Thank you.

A lot of these threads go ignored because we as in any forum, are tired of answering the same generic questions over and over again.
There are plenty of threads here and elsewhere that answer your questions.
