Ive been looking for springs to use for my car and a lot of the ones that I find that I would like to get say they are for an Si. Could I use those springs on my DX model or is the suspension all different for the Si?

I dont think so only the shocks from the DX and the Si is the same, just try and look for EX LX or DX springs... because I know for coilovers they are both different and they wont fit if you have it switched around.

i would not know...
the Si he is talking about is the 2011, so different animal. too many suspension changes from 7->8th gen.
they might fit? however, would recommend shocks too, since springs are supposed to be stiffer, so shocks will not be able to dampen the spring vibration anymore

I had a 2007 LX before my ek, and when i lowered it with coilovers only the ones for base model fit the Si ones didnt fit at all. But yeah I would not recomend springs for that car to begin with because shocks get blown easily riding it with lowering springs.

Thanks for all the insite. My buddy that works at honda said that the only difference is the shocks but the control arms are the same set up so the si springs would work for my DX. Im going to buy them and put them in. If they work for positive Ill post another reply.

Don't buy them unless your positive... Believe me I've made this mistake before. Your best off to buy the ones designed for your car to avoid major headache.

are you going to change the shocks too? They are called shock "absorbers" or dampers, because they are supposed to "abosorb" AKA dampen the spring vibration. If spring gets stiffer, they will overwhelm the shocks and will move freelier than before.

in other words, your car will dance nicely "boingo, boingo" and the shocks will wear faster due to increased cycling up and down.
