New Hybrid seat

Re: New Hybrid seat
Hi KAK707
Before you start replacing seats you might want to try what I've done.
I had a problem with not enough lower back support in both my 01 Insight and 12 Civic Hybrid. I found that Honda seats are very easy to add additional padding to. I just did both seats in the 12 Hybrid in less than 10 minutes.
To get at the inside of your seat you need to unhook a plastic clip which runs the width of the seat and holds the back of the seat cover to the bottom, then open the zippers on both sides of the seat back. You can now slip additional padding into the seat to fit your wife's back. When she's happy, close up the seat again and your done.
You may want to leave it open for a few days in case you want to make some adjustments. I used high density foam from backpacking sleeping pads.
Hope this helps,
Bill
