Rep Power: 0 Thinking of buying a 2010-2012 Civic - need some advice
I have been looking at slightly used newer civics lately, mainly 2010-2012 and really like them a lot. I currently have a 99 4-door civic LX that's my daily driver and a 99 Jeep Wrangler for fun. Both cars are paid off. I hardly ever drive the wrangler since it's a gas hog. I burn 1/4 tank just driving across town. Plus it either rains too much in the summer and too cold 9 months out of the year where I live so the convertible feature is rarely used. I have been thinking about selling both vehicles and getting a newer civic. It seems practical and a smart decision. I am also tired of paying insurance on 2 vehicles. I am 28, not married and work full time, so I don't need 2 cars at the moment. I do love my 99 civic. It is the best car I've ever had with excellent gas mileage, never gives me any problems and runs like a champ. Are the newer ones just as good? What would you guys do in my situation?
