2012 EX-L Navi anti theft

Hi everyone. I got a 2012 EX-L + Navi. Unfortunately I don't live in the greatest of areas.. how easy would it be for someone to remove my navigation unit? I did a google search on this and got no results.

Thanks for the help

Re: 2012 EX-L Navi anti theft

IMO, someone would almost have to have an identical car to put it in before it would work. It's not exactly plug-n-play in any other car, and it's certainly not a portable unit that will work on top of any dashboard.

Yeah, it is a high-dollar item, but probably not something the local crack dealer would be able to easily resell. Around here, they like normal car stereos that fit any car.

You have insurance that would cover it, right?

The hassle is more than it is worth to someone trying to steal it. It would take to long for them to get it out and its not really universal..You should be fine.
