Hi Everyone,

I really don't like to walk into Green & Ross or Mr. Lube and would like to forge a relationship with a good/honest mechanic or people who don't hire co-op grade 12 students to do essential services like oil changes.

Who do you recommend in the Durham region of Ontario? It doesn't have to be a chain shop or anything big, but they should be following some guidelines and not be over-charging. I guess some personal references would do.

I am looking for a shop that can accommodate drive in/wait to change oil and a mechanic who has a checklist that can provide me that did a few extra checks on things like battery, tires, other lubricants etc.....like the A and B services mentions.

This mechanic will do some my car service from time to time and mostly in winter when it's harsher to do some services myself.
