The only new civic that has more than 150 hp is the SI. The SI is the best version all together and gets great gas mileage.
Hell go buy the new crz. I drove that thing the other day and damn that thing is ballin. It has some good power to it and great handling, you can get great gas mileage. I estimated 45 mpg on it.

Yeah.02civicsi02 is right.Only Civics from 06-09 that got over 150WHP is an Si.Although I've seen some Civic Si's that dynoed at just above 150hp which is quite low.But know that Si's don't come in AT.The Honda CR-Z is rated at a combined 122 hp at 6000 rpm which is quite powerful for a hybrid. It is also the only hybrid that has a base price of under $20,000.I'm thinking the WHP for the CR-Z would be around 100-110whp.Torque is rated at 128ft.lb.

Hey.. I just bought an 06 SI, i have only had it for 2 weeks, but it gets 29 mpg in highway/city setting. It's geared low, so you end up chucking out 3.5or 4 K rpm if you hit the highway. That's 70ish MPH....Plus, its fun to dust Mustang guys that like to slow down, and rev up there engines...

I'm new to this Honda board. I just became the proud owner of an 06 Civic SI 3 weeks ago...But a Volkswagen GTI will flat get you down the road. The gasoline models are the fastest, but they usually require monthly maintenance. The old VW TDI's will run for ever, but they aren't race cars.
