Re: transmission shifting hard

may just be the fluid needs to warm up and thin out. have you ever changed the trans fluid? if not, it would be a great idea. only use honda ATF.

Re: transmission shifting hard

I have a 2010 civic lx-s check engine light came on when I started the car after the car set at the store for 10 min when I went to drive it the car didnt sound right and took off fine BUT when it shifted into second it slamed hard and would not shift into third or forth. It's a automatic trans and is at the dealership now cause its still under warenty. maybe someone will have some insite as to what's going on with why newer honda civics are having so many issues and how to fix them right

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

No problem.

Let the dealer fix it. No problem.

Mice don't care what year the car is, they chew on the wires anyway. This has been what I have seen more often than any other single thing. Rodent damage isn't covered by any warranty.
