The passenger seat in my '07 SI is loose. It rocks slightly and makes a clunking noise. The dealer says the rail needs to be replaced and that it would cost about $1,000! In posts for earlier Civics I've found that it might be a bushing that needs replacement but I'm not sure it applies to my 07. Has anyone else had a similar problem with their 07 SI seats?

First off I'd go to the parts counter and see if all model seat rails were the same as yours... 4 door 2 door EX etc and if so I'd go to a junk yard and buy a replacement there.... shouldn't be to hard to put'em on.... and save some $$$$

The bolts that secure the rails to the floor are tight. I can actually see what's loose but don't see any nuts or bolts. Haven't taken the seat out of the car yet.
