Help with turbo question!!!!

I would like to see what you guys here think. I was looking at a turbo for my new 06 si. Some people have told me not to, till i rebuild the motor. I havent been able to find anything on the internet. Please help!!!!!!!!!

You dont necessarily need to build the motor till you boost alot. With your z3 you should be fine with bout 8 psi with stock valve train. Just to be safe I wouldnt go past that with it stock. But with the 8 psi just make sure to get a good tune. What ecu upgrade are you going for.
And I know a couple people that have the a3 and they are boosting 10 psi stock and have been for about a year and running strong but are daredevils lol.

z3 transmission is pretty weak. if you turbo it, just baby it or get your trans built or you'll run into problems and transmissions arent cheap.

thats what the ad said about the kit... a friend of mine said to rebuild the motor before i do that, the car has 118k on it and its pretty Fing quick right now. i bet him and he has a turbo tiburon. so i dont know. just wanted someone to tell me what they think.. thanx again guys. holla

Could someone help me out here... .
okay I have a Greddy turbo kit with greddy ultimate e management but I have ordered hondata flash-pro to use instead.. what do I do step by step to remove the Greddy E management.. and do I HAVE TO get my ECU back to stock somehow before letting the performance garage tune my car with flash-pro????
