Rep Power: 0 Fuel smell in cabin
I get a slight smell of gasoline whenever I come to a stop with windows closed. The smell goes away very fast when I start to move again. I put my head under the hood and do not get even the faintest smell of gasoline after running a while. The smell is not there when I first start the engine but is there a few minutes after running. Makes me think something is leaking fuel and after sitting some time it has evaporated. I would like to look into this myself but can't find any tech manuals available for my 2007 civic lx sedan. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Do you have your cat still in your exhaust? Is it still good? Have you modified your exhaust at all? Whats your MPG and has it gone down at all since you got it? Any CEL lights? Report back with answers.

No CEL. Mileage just keeps getting better as it breaks in. Currently 49k on it now. Getting 34-38 mpg depending on the traffic. Interesting you ask about the exaust. It have never been modifed at all intentionally. I was rear ended with over $5k in damage resulting. Dumb *** kid rear ended me in his dodge ram while texting in our old condo complex. Looked like no damage to the the frame but lots of crushed plastic and soft metal. The body shop and insurance company never made any claim of damage to the exhaust. Thanks for your quick reply!

Hmm... well, maybe your fuel system some how got messed up and a hose got loose or something. I'm not sure why you got the smell if your exhaust is fine and your MPG's is up.
