18's on an 09 civic?

I saw a similar thread but was curious if anyone had any opinions or experience with 18 inch wheels on an 8th gen. Reason being because I traded in my 00 TL for the civic and was planning on sellin my chrome 18's i had for it until i realized the 5x114 bolt pattern was the same. I mean the might not look enitirely right on my black civic but economically it makes sense versus losin money on expensive wheels i barely put any miles on. Any way if anyone has advice as to what I'd be gettin myself into puttin these bad boys on once the salt leaves the roads. Thanks

it would definetly save you money, I have 18inch arceo suzuka II rims with nexen n3000 on the front and nitto neogen's on the rear 225/40/18 and i'm dropped on eibach sporlines 1.5 inches and i dont rub at all...none what so ever

You'll be fine espically if your car is at stock ride height...you just may have to run a smaller tire than you did on your tl....

here's some pics..judge for yourself
