Rep Power: 0 OEM Fog lights question
I had a question about oem fog lights for my 06 civic.
I was on ebay looking for some and they have some for a 4DR and a 2DR does it matter which one i buy? And also, if i got it from a different year would that matter? Last question, would it matter if i got the ones for the Si?
I'm planning on getting the yellow color for my civic. Lemme know what you guys think
PROPS WILL BE GIVEN NO DOUBT!!!
Thanks for the help fellas

usually the ebay ones dont wire up properly. either some plugs dont fit, or the overall package is just junk quality. so youll prolly have to get a new switch and relay harness and redo everything.

The housing that mounts into the bumpers are not the same, since the bumpers for the 2 and 4 doors are completely different.
The Si bumpers are the same as the ex/lx/dx front bumpers so that is not an issue.
As long as the fogs are from 06-08 there shouldn't be an issue. (09's get a refresh so stay away)
I agree with gearbox though. The ebay lights are typically wired different and sometimes missing parts. Its been done, but can be a bit of a headache. However, there is a benefit in that a lot of the ebay lenses are plastic and therefore a little more shatter resistant that the oem glass ones.
The yellow looks hot by the way. I have them (just nokya yellow bulbs, no fog overlays).

I actually got my Yellow fogs for my si on ebay.... why?? because id rather pay 300 dollars less and do it myself.. i put my own fogs in.. it was tricky with the wiring.. i just hooked it directly to the battery so i can have them on or off whenever i want... instead of only on with headlights etc. .. The tough \scary part was deff cutting the bumper out for the housing for fog.. eh.. not everyday u cut through a bumper ya know... its something u wouldnt want to replace if u screwed up.. other than that i had no problems with mine so far.. been in for about 2 yeas now...
