Rep Power: 0 Parking Brake placement - FIX
The first thing I noticed that bothered me about my 06 Civic sedan when I bought it a couple of weeks ago was the placement of the parking brake handle. I'm 6 feet tall - kinda long in the leg. When I drive, my leg/knee laid uncomfortably against the parking brake handle. I got to thinking that if the handle were padded, it would solve the problem. I went to a bike shop and purchased some black foamy handlebar grips for $5.99, cut the wide ends off of both sides, put some dish soap and water on the inside of them and slid them over the brake handle. Perfect fit. It looks good, and more importantly, FEELS GOOD. No more discomfort while driving - especially on those long cruises. And if you didn't know any better, you'd swear they were OEM.

had the same problem, i removed the handle molding and button ,kinda tricky, and then bent the whole arm over (twist toward passenger) side with a 2 ft pipe and then reinstalled trim.
