Question about wheel and tire fitting

Okay these were not my first choice of wheels but i got a really good offer and im wondering if they would fit or not?

wheel is 18x8, and the tires are 245/40

Can you guys help me out?
Any input on how it would look?

The largest tires I have seen on a 06/07 Civic is 224/40R-18. With the 245's ...you may need to do some fender well pounding.

I think you should go with 225's to avoid the well pounding.

hey whats up man names joey and i work for axiswheels and with 18x8 run with a 225/40/18 you can run a 215/40/18 but to smail of a side wall so like they evey one sade on here run a 222/40/18 and what wheels are you going with???? just want to know
