Rep Power: 0 no headers for lx/ex model?
i was reading this month honda tunin, and this guy was asking about performance part for the 2006 civic. and they were saying that there will never be a aftermarket header cuz r18 only has a single exhaust port on the head so is that true that there won't be turbo for the 8th gen. civic?

Wassup.....
On you tube I saw this video and I think the sound will speak for itself.
It's a 2006 civic SI turbo, check it out.

looking at the drawing on majestic honda, it actually is integral to the head
and the catalytic converter bolts right up to the exhaust port on the head
so, technically, there won't be an aftermarket header. you can, however, do a port and polish and have a bigger exhaust pipe, removing the cat, and that would kinda do the same stuff
As for the turbo question, i guess you'd be able to use that one exhaust port to have a downpipe-ish connection to a turbo, which would mate to the rest of the exhaust system, and that would make for some fun at finding out where to put the O2 sensors.. lol..

and like I mentioned above, its a larger diameter "downpipe" that removes the cat..
