Rep Power: 0 Question on ventilation controls...
Hi guys I have a weird question. Is it at all possible to shut off the vents from blowing out air? I have the fan speed selector in the OFF position and when I close the vent on the left hand side of the dash, the vents in the middle still blow air. It's not just a little bit of air, it seems like the fan is still on as it is a significant amount of air. In addition, I can't seem to turn off the controls as to where the air is going either (i.e. can't turn off the light that selects where the air is going). Am I going crazy here?
This is my first Honda, so I'm new to these. Maybe this is just how they are? Thanks in advance.

Rep Power: 0 Yea Man Thats How It Is, One Light Is Always On, Its Up To You Which One Lol.
One Thing That Use To Confuse People On Hondas Was That The Ac Light Would Be On When Your Defrost Was On, Because Honda Uses The Ac In Conjunction With The Defrost To Get Humidity Down In The Car, Recently They Have Made It So The Ac Light Does Not Come On When Defrost Is On.

Rep Power: 0 Aren't the vents supposed to shut off though when you turn the fan speed to off? Mine still blow significant amounts of air even when they are off. I could understand a little bit of air, but this is a lot.

Rep Power: 0 Well Try Setting It To Recycle And Then Turn It Off, They Will Always Blow Air Because Of The Air In The Engine Compartment, normally Its Not To Much, If It Becomes Unbearable Or Annoying The Dealer May Be Able To Do Something, And If They Tell You Its Normal Ask If They Could Demonstrate To You With A Different Civic Of The Same Year And Model
