Factory Nav System Owners ...

Quick question for the group.

I'm looking for a kit that will integrate a cell phone with the factory navigation system. In other words - you have an option in the address book of the nav system to place telephone numbers. I'd like to somehow tie that back into a cell phone (cradled - or bluetooth) so I could initiate calls from the head unit (via the docked cell phone).

Any suggestions?

I did some more digging ...

Lets just say that the Americans got the raw end of the deal on the new Civic. How can I say that? Go here:

Honda Car Experience

Select the european version of the Civic. A few notible improvements (aside from the exterior facia):

1.) The 2.2L Diesel Engine (optional)

2.) [ON TOPIC] The Bluetooth-enabled hands-free telephone system that appears to be integrated with the other car systems (button is available on the steering wheel).

3.) Leather from the factory (an option)

/GRRR!
/Wants AMERICAN version of some of these goodies

I had the same reaction after following that very-cool Civic choir commercial back to the Honda UK web site. As much as we get with the US 2006 Civic EX, I do wish they hadn't shortchanged us on the Bluetooth integration. Then again, the way cell carriers control (remove) what we get on our phones here, I'm used to the feeling.
