aftermarket ipod install

I have a Canadian DX-G which came with an auxilary jack but no iPod link. Looking for recommendations on the best way to integrate the ipod into the car's audio system. I use it right now simply via the auxilary jack, but my main complaint is that when I turn off the car the iPod keeps playing .

any ideas?

Ordered the OEM iPod Link. Probably get it this week, but don't think I'll be able to do the install coz I gotta help the wife wash windows this weekend. Anyway came across this http://www.nuxx.net/wiki/Honda_Music...Adapter_Review when I did a google on the subject after I order the music link. Maybe it'll help you and others decide before you buy.

Will probably post my experiences with the install like I did with the fog lights.

FYI Honda does seem to have a iPod Music Link for the DX, LX & EX models w/o Nav. I ordered a Music Link for my EX w/o the Nav. Unfortunately, the more I read about the Music Link the more upset I get about it. The vast majority of people who have gotten it think it's an overpriced piece of crap. I even found a disclaimer from the software provider http://www.zapptek.com/MusicLink/. Basically ZappTek seem to be saying it was not their fault and you should complain to Honda. Based on all the negative reviews, I'll be returning the Music Link back as soon as I get it. I'll be out $40 for the shipping but at least I won't be wasting my time installing a piece of junk.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming anyone for my loss, as it was my mistake for not reading up on it. But I've always trusted Honda's quality so I'm very disappointed with the product and the hype.

for now i ordered the griffon tuneflex, eventually i'll look into whether it's possible to trick the factory stereo into thinking that the iPod is an XM device and treat it accordingly

I plan to get the Tunflex too unless I can find something better.
