2001 LX: I adjusted the clutch from behind the pedal by lengthening the rod between the pedal and the cylinder. The clutch now engages about 2 - 3 inches from the floor and disenges roughly 2-3 inches from the top. This includes about 1 inch of "free play: where the cluth pedal has no resistance whatsoever when you take your foot off. The clutch works perfectly, both disengaging completely as well as properly engaging. I just want to be certain that I cannot damage anything such as a throw out bearing etc. What kind of adjustment would "err on the side of caution"?
